Frequently Asked Questions

We have a strict cancellation policy. Both the deposits and balancing payments are not refundable under any circumstances.

We can move dates up to sixty days prior to the arrival date but after this the bookings are not moveable.

We would encourage all our guests to take out appropriate travel insurance to ensure that they are covered for any unforeseen circumstances which mean they cannot travel.

All of our lodges have secure outdoor decking areas apart from The Shore. The decking on The Shore cannot be enclosed.

You will receive a payment reminder wnen the payment is due and this will give you links to pay by card or Paypal and details for bank transfers.

We do not automatically take payments – the only transaction which will be processed automatically is the preauthorisation for the damage deposit which will be applied for one or two days prior to arrival. This will be automatically released when you leave provided all is ok.

We cannot accept payments over the phone.

Our normal arrival time is from 4pm onwards and our departure time is by 10am. It may be possible to book early arrival from 2pm or late departure to 12pm at a cost of £20 or £30 respectively.

Due to the fire risk we have a strict no barbeque policy in the park.

There is a small spar shop and a butchers in Coldingham and in Eymouth there is a Coop. The larger supermarkets can be found in Berwick to the South and Dunbar to the north.

Tesco, Asda, Morrisons and Sainsburys often deliver to the lodges and it’s fine to arrange delivery to the lodges as long as you are there to receive it.

You will receive arrival instructions two weeks prior to your stay which will give you directions and arrival information.

We do not allow any decoration to the exterior of the lodge and we do not allow banners etc to be put up inside the lodges as unfortunately we have had damage as a result of this in the past.

We include irons and ironing boards, hairdryers, washing machines (some lodges have washer dryers) and hoovers.

We provide hand soap in the bathrooms, washing up liquid, a cloth and a sponge, a tea towel, two binbags and a couple of dishwasher tables.

We provide towels for use in the lodge but ask that you bring your own for the beach/hot tub.

The room configurations are as per the descriptions on our booking page and cannot be changed (apart from Creel Lodge where one bed can either be twin or superking).
